The weather the last few days has been spectacular. Cool at night warm during the day with no humidity.

The big project of the day was picking up our 120 pounds of fish to see if it would all fit in the freezer. Once we got back to the camper with our load we just dumped it right in. IT ALL FIT!!! But with only about 2” at the top to spare. We’re estimating another 20 lbs coming tomorrow of Gerry’s fish that won’t fit in the 3 / 50 lb boxes he’s flying home with. So I removed all the fish we had just dumped and carefully stacked each piece in an orderly fashion as to not lose any space. When I was done we had gained another 2”. So a total of 4” is what we have to fit the additional fish tomorrow.

The rest of the day was spent packing up and preparing for a long trek home. Will we be going straight home you ask? Good question. Gary hasn’t decided.

Our last evening here on the Kenai was spent enjoying cheese, crackers and a Kenai Fizz. We reminisced about the last few weeks and all the fun we had with so many people.

The journey continues….
